Job description

Plan and lead proposals and cost estimates for all projects. Support the Bids and Tenders team in preparing bids and tendering documents to secure projects with existing and new clients. Provide robust proposals including:

  • Proposal Letter
  • Estimates for the costs of projects, products, and services
  • Clarifications to the proposal
  • Liaise with the Bid and Tender Coordinator to meet client requirements regarding detail and documentation
  • Assist the Tender Manager with BNB, Approval, and Handover processes

Assist the sales team with proposals, tracking costs, understanding customer specifications, and calculating final budgets for projects, products, or services.

Profile

Assist the Sales Team in acquiring new work, including preparing proposal documentation and estimates. Lead, plan, and prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects. Manage the estimation enquiry process. Prepare detailed proposals. Maintain and build upon current client relationships and develop new ones by attending and contributing to meetings. Ensure smooth operation of the estimating and tender process by liaising with clients and all departments. Assist with bids for new contracts and support buyer activities. Support the business in converting estimates into orders. Use estimating knowledge to price and submit competitive tender packages. Interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate estimates. Create presentations and documents for internal communication. Gather information to populate estimation documents. Organize project files with internal and external information. Input and maintain data in CRM. Deputize for the Bids and Tender Manager when required.
