Zusammenfassung

Navartis Ltd is seeking a Tender Planner for a Tier 1 international engineering and construction group. The role is based at the head office in Golborne with occasional travel to sites as required.

You will work with the Transportation division, assemble information, develop a resourced programme, contribute to risk analysis and support the estimator with schedules of temporary works and indirect costs. Experience on Network Rail or major infrastructure schemes is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience on Network Rail schemes and/or major infrastructure projects.
• Previous pre-construction / tender planning experience.
• Familiar with planning software (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA).
• Experience with various planning techniques for tendering and delivery.
• Understanding of commercial/contract interfaces with planning.
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor is desirable.

Summary

A Tier 1 leading international, multi-disciplined engineering and construction company providing better engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, energy and natural resources is looking to hire a Tender Planner to work with the Transportation division based from head office in Golborne with some travel to sites as required.

As a Tender Planner you will

• Assimilate information and summarise it in a manner that can be used to communicate the work scope to others.
• Prepare a resourced programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements.
• Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis.
• Prepare visual material in support of planned methods.
• Define methods and establish outputs, in consultation with the estimator and other team members, including the supply chain in appropriate circumstances.
• Provide the estimator with a justified schedule of temporary works and other indirect cost items.
• Attend the bid review meeting to contribute a clear view of the work scope and the intentions for delivering it by reference to prepared material.
• In consultation with Estimator advise project team of required feedback reports and support.

To be suitable for this opportunity you must have:

• Experience working on Network Rail schemes and/or Major Infrastructure projects
• Have previous pre construction/ tender planning experience
• Use of planning software (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA).
• Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery.
• A clear understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor is highly desirable.

Package

Competitive Salary of around £55,000 plus
