Job description

Tenant & Resident Engagement Officer – Permanent

Strategy & Engagement

Salary Grade 5 i.e. £30,060 - £32,654 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Part Time, 18.5 hours per week

We are an ambitious and progressive Council determined to be ranked among the best social housing providers in the Country. Exciting new opportunities have now arisen that will play a pivotal role in helping us to fully realise our aspirations and continue our improvement journey.

This is a varied and challenging role providing support to existing tenant/resident groups, encouraging new groups to form, facilitating focus groups, supporting the Tenant Forum and encouraging tenant involvement in scrutiny of services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in customer service and client relations, knowledge of the housing business, a passion to improve our services, and who shares and demonstrates our values of empowerment, respect, integrity, and adaptability.

As well as having excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, you will have experience in stakeholder participation, consultation methods, and customer insight techniques, as well as experience of coordinating and managing a range of meetings and events.
