Job summary

Fawkes & Reece (North) is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (SMTLO) for a City of Preston kitchen replacement scheme. This temporary role runs for approximately six months, starting in early September and finishing around March 2027. Salary is £28,000–£30,000 per annum.

You will visit tenants, explain scheduled works, collect forms, and act as the main contact for tenancy issues. A driving licence and CSCS card are preferred; coordination with housing associations will also be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Resident Liaison Officer working for a social housing contractor.
• Full driving licence and own transport.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Experience in social housing schemes and tenant liaison.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-entry visits and inductions.
• Visit tenants to explain works and timelines.
• Act as main point of contact for tenants and handle queries.
• Coordinate with neighbourhood housing associations.
• Visit homes to advise on completion dates for refurbishments.
• Attend and chair tenant forum meetings.
• Monitor and resolve customer complaints.
