Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Tenant Engagement Officer in Housing Services to deliver, support and create comprehensive customer scrutiny and engagement across the service, ensuring regulatory compliance and turning feedback into action.

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, lead collaborative projects and embed a culture of co-creation while managing multiple tasks at pace and using MS Office tools effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a social housing environment or a similar regulated field.
• Genuine passion for putting customers at the heart of decision making.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with diverse audiences in person, online, on the phone and in writing.
• Ability to prioritise, manage several tasks at pace and work on own initiative.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Full valid driving licence and access to a car for regular travel.
