Job summary
Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tenancy Support Worker to join a leading social housing provider in Bridgend, Wales. You will deliver tailored advice, support and crisis intervention to clients facing tenancy difficulties, helping them achieve independent living.
The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay and a comprehensive training package with ongoing development. You will coordinate with welfare benefits, housing services and other agencies to secure sustainable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tenancy Support Worker or in related social housing role.
- Knowledge of welfare and housing benefits.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying hours and environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored advice and support to clients with tenancy issues.
- Develop positive working relationships to aid resettlement.
- Assist clients with financial management including welfare claims.
- Conduct assessments and casework to address social isolation and exclusion.
- Liaise with agencies to coordinate support and resources.
- Support clients in future planning to ensure sustainable independence.
