Temporary Works Design Manager

Are you an experienced Temporary Works Design Engineer / Manager in the Civils/Rail industry?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Works Design Engineer / Manager to join the Southern Renewals Team. The project (CP7) will total 5+5 years of multiple individual schemes across Network Rail's Southern Route (Kent, Sussex & Wessex).

You will manage the coordination for Temporary Works Design across several concurrent schemes at different stages - projects are split into Buildings, Structures and Earthworks & Drainage.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the implementation of significant temporary works on projects.
2. Demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering principles and technical subcontract management.
3. Create innovation and value engineering through design and standards management.
4. Coordinate Temporary Works Design across multiple schemes.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Technical qualification (example Degree in civil engineering or HND).
2. Proven technical organisational skills.
3. Ideally MICE or MCIOB.
4. Experience in civil engineering.
