Job description

We are looking for an Industrial Placement Student in Civil Engineering and/or Demolition to join our team.

To support our growing business, we are looking for an Industrial Placement Student in Civil Engineering to join our team. We are specialists in the design of temporary works, particularly those related to demolition, rail works, and lifting gear design and currently have a position available.

Your role will include the following:

  1. Design of cost-effective, innovative & constructible temporary works to an agreed timescale and budget
  2. Production of calculations and drawings as required
  3. Production of 3D BIM models

Ideally, you will have the following skills:

  1. Currently on a Degree for a relevant Civil Engineering qualification
  2. Demonstrable competence in structural analysis
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. A working knowledge of all MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
  5. Working knowledge of CAD, including AutoCAD and REVIT
  6. Numerate, accurate, and a high level of attention to detail
  7. Willingness to learn
  8. Keen to develop and accept responsibility

Required Education: Be on a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.

Job Type: Full-time during placement for a minimum of 1 year, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
