Temporary Works Design Engineer



Major Recruitment are proudly working in partnership with a fast growing engineering company who due to growth, are looking to recruit a Project Design Engineer to help deliver bespoke support solutions to their industrial clients on a global basis.


The role combines hands-on design work with client liaison, project coordination, and quoting. It's ideal for an adaptable engineer with strong technical design skills and an interest in innovation and project delivery.


The Role:



  • Design temporary platforms using 3D CAD.

  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and propose tailored solutions.

  • Produce design drawings and supporting documentation.

  • Prepare quotations and collaborate with the wider team to secure and deliver work.

  • Support project delivery from concept to completion.


Requirements:



  • Experience using Inventor is highly favourable, or 3D CAD or BIM tools.

  • Use of temporary works, structural systems, or construction materials design .

  • Knowledge of civil or structural engineering principles required.

  • Experience managing or coordinating projects.

  • HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • Full UK driving licence.
