Job description

Our client is seeking a Treasury Control Senior Administrator / Senior Analyst to join their Jersey-based team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role supports the Dealing Room function by managing cash and FX positions, overseeing cash balances across agents and custodians, and carrying out a range of treasury control responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in daily, monthly, and annual reporting and will proactively manage and reduce risk through accurate settlement and monitoring of cash and FX activities.

Job Duties:

  • Calculate and analyse the bank's running cash position throughout the day
  • Initiate funding transfers between agent and correspondent bank accounts
  • Settle daily FX netting positions and generate related payment instructions
  • Reconcile prior day FX inputs and provide accurate currency positions and daily profit analysis
  • Accurately determine, record, and mark-to-market collateral positions
  • Monitor and report on external positions, FX activity, trading, and profit across entities
  • Calculate brokerage fees, distribute accordingly, and initiate related payments
  • Administer and report on High-Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA) and associated Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
  • Conduct maintenance and quarterly audits of dealer limits for money market and FX books
  • Prepare fixed deposits, money market deals, and FX transactions
  • Monitor trading limits and Nostro working balances

Job Requirements:

  • Experience supporting operations in a high-volume banking environment
  • Practical understanding of banking and treasury products
  • Strong analytical ability and advanced Excel skills
  • Sound knowledge of treasury control processes and associated risk mitigation
  • Familiarity with wealth management business models
  • (Desirable) Understanding of FX, money markets, liquidity, and operational banking procedures
