Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a temporary assignment in West Yorkshire. The role supports a busy dealership’s aftersales desk, with an initial booking of at least one month and a strong chance of extension to a permanent position.

You will handle customer bookings, provide repair updates, coordinate with the workshop, and upsell where appropriate, ensuring service records are accurately kept. Immediate start available.

Temporary Service Advisor

Location: West Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary (with potential to go permanent)
Hours:Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: £18-£21 per hour PAYE (paid via umbrella company)

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and well-established dealership within a large automotive dealer group.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and provide immediate cover within a fast-paced aftersales department. The initial booking is expected to be at least one month, with the possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role

• Managing customer bookings and service enquiries
• Providing regular customer updates throughout the repair process
• Liaising closely with the workshop and technicians
• Identifying and upselling additional work where appropriate
• Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times
• Maintaining accurate job cards and service records

Requirements

• Previous Service Advisor experience within a franchised dealership
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a busy service desk
• Keyloop or RTC experience advantageous
• Available to start at short notice
