Job summary

Fashion & Retail Personnel is seeking a Temporary Senior Garment Technologist in London for a 4-6 week assignment focused on denim, outerwear and woven products. You will lead fit sessions and coordinate construction practices across supply partners to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with denim/woven categories, strong construction and grading knowledge, and proficiency in Excel to manage technical data.

Qualifications

• Denim and woven product knowledge with extensive experience in denim/outerwear.
• Strong knowledge of construction, grading, fabric performance and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and managing technical data.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions and manage fit, grading and garment construction.
• Produce technical briefs and fit comments for suppliers.
• Ensure quality, compliance, testing and labelling standards are met.
• Work closely with Buying, Design, QA and Supply Chain teams.

A premium fashion brand is seeking an experienced Garment Technologist to join the team on a 4-6 week temporary assignment. A strong background in denim, outerwear and or woven product categories is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions and manage fit, grading and garment construction
• Produce technical briefs and fit comments for suppliers
• Ensure quality, compliance, testing and labelling standards are met
• Work closely with Buying, Design, QA and Supply Chain teams
• Maintain technical documentation and critical path updates
• Support warehouse QC, inspections and returns analysis

About You

• Experienced across categories such as denim, outerwear, tailoring, trousers and woven products
• Strong knowledge of construction, grading, fabric performance and compliance
• Confident using Excel and managing technical data
• Proactive, organised and able to hit the ground running
