A leading educational institution in Worcester is seeking a dynamic SEN Class Teacher for their new early years centre. This role involves creating tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have management experience and a passion for innovative teaching. SEN Class Teacher with responsibility for our Early Years Phase
Start date: 1st September 2025, subject to pre-employment checks.
Contract type: Temporary, for maternity cover.
Hours:32.5 per week
Salary range: Main pay scale (M1-M6), plus TLR 3 and SEN1 allowance.
We are excited to be opening our new bespoke early years centre in September 2025 and as a result are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and outstanding manager and teacher of early years children to work at this popular 4-19 special school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties.
Candidates will be required to deliver a personalised curriculum tailored to suit the specific needs of pupils with complex needs, taking into account sensory processing, communication, behaviour and therapeutic needs. Suitable candidates will evidence imagination, creativity, flexibility and originality throughout their career.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and supportive, with the ability to produce lessons that captivate and encourage students of all abilities. Candidates will have a clear knowledge of current developments within the teaching of special educational needs, as well as the ability to successfully work in partnership with colleagues to plan and teach. The ideal candidate will have experience of management within a school setting.
