Job summary

Sports Direct is hiring a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Summer period. You will engage customers with energy and enthusiasm, helping with product selections and maintaining the store’s presentation.

You’ll support sales targets, assist with deliveries and stock, and ensure pricing accuracy while enjoying a fast-paced, team-focused retail environment. Role is for the Summer period ending 13th September, requiring weekend/evening availability and a flexible, customer-centric approach to

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to deliver outstanding service.

• Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment.
• Assist with deliveries, stock processing and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Be available to work over the Summer period, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

As a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Summer period (ending 13th September), you’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and customer focus to every shift. From helping customers with product selections to maintaining the look and feel of the store, you’ll contribute to a first-class shopping experience, all while gaining valuable skills and building your confidence in a fun, fast-moving retail environment.

Sales & Service

• Engage with every customer to deliver outstanding service
• Use your product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations

Visual Merchandising

• Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment
• Support visual merchandising standards that reflect the Sports Direct brand

Operations

• Assist with deliveries and stock processing
• Ensure pricing is up-to-date and accurate
• Support stock counts and inventory accuracy
• To be available to work over the Summer period is a must (bank holidays, weekends and evenings)
