Are you a friendly and organised individual looking to make an impact in the events industry? Our client is seeking a dedicated Receptionist / Venue Hire Support to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring every interaction is warm and professional.


Position: Receptionist / Venue Hire Support
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £15.50
Location: West End

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Welcome Visitors: Provide a warm and professional reception to all guests, ensuring they feel valued and welcomed from the moment they arrive.
  • Manage Communications: Answer and direct phone calls and emails efficiently, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Assist with Venue Hire Bookings: Guide clients through the venue hire process, offering detailed information about available facilities and helping them choose the best options for their events.
  • Coordinate with Events Team: Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of all bookings, providing necessary support and updates as required.
  • Maintain Reception Area: Keep the reception area tidy and organised, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors and staff alike.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative responsibilities, including filing, data entry, and scheduling, to support the overall operations of the organisation.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and staff, addressing any needs or concerns with professionalism and care.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a receptionist and within events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
