Job summary

Office Angels in Verwood is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis for around four weeks, with potential extension. You will join the finance team to handle purchase ledger duties and payments to suppliers and subcontractors.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will verify CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SCHEME invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, and process weekly payments and card transactions in a busy construction-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier and subcontractor invoice processing.
• Knowledge of purchase ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices, including CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SCHEME invoices.
• Manage the purchase ledger, supplier queries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and process weekly supplier payments and employee expense payments.
• Carry out CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SCHEME verification checks and resolve related queries.
• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions.
