Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and proactive Temporary Property & Estates Officer to support their busy Estates Office. This full-time role is offered on a temporary basis for around 10 weeks, providing essential cover in a fast-paced environment.

Please note: This is a full-time, office-based position (35 hours/week). No parking is available on site.

As Property & Estates Officer, you will manage a varied property portfolio, including commercial, residential, and agricultural holdings. You will act as a key contact for tenants, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional service delivery.

Reporting to the Property Director and working closely with the Estates Bursar, your responsibilities will include property administration, financial coordination, committee support, and office management.

Note: This is a temporary position paid weekly via PAYE. Immediate start required; candidates with lengthy notice periods cannot be considered.

Responsibilities:
  • Property and Tenancy Management: Handle tenant inquiries, repairs, legal, H&S, and financial issues; liaise with external stakeholders; issue invoices; maintain lease records; check lease terms and rent reviews.
  • Operational and Office Support: Process invoices; support the Estates Register and insurance renewals; assist with healthcare scheme admin and committee coordination; provide general office support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be confident, professional, well-organised, with property or estates administration experience. You will have:

  • Proven experience in property management or similar
  • Strong communication skills and calmness under pressure
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Experience in lettings, facilities, or similar roles (desirable)
