We're offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.35 to £15.38 for a full-time temporary role (4-month contract) with strong potential for extension or a permanent position. Based in Midlothian, this is a fully on-site role.
About the Role
As Project/Operations Administrator, you'll work at the heart of our client's Operations team, supporting multiple business functions including Project Management, Health & Safety, HR, Finance, Quality, and Logistics. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of key projects and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
You'll coordinate across departments, track project milestones, maintain documentation, and ensure that team efforts are aligned and on schedule. If you enjoy multitasking, keeping things organised, and being the glue that holds project teams together - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end administrative and project support across Operations functions.
- Coordinate and monitor progress on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality presentation documents.
- Attend and document key meetings, taking minutes, actions, and follow-ups.
- Track project timelines, update trackers, and support audit preparation.
- Support scheduling, logistics, and resource coordination for project meetings and reviews.
- Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Essential Skills:
- Proven administrative experience with exposure to project environments.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities - able to juggle multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to create clear presentations and reports.
- Confident in capturing and tracking actions and project milestones.

- Experience supporting cross-departmental teams or functions.
