A recruitment agency is seeking a Temporary Project Accountant based in Peterborough/Hybrid. Ideal candidates will have strong stakeholder management skills and experience in a dynamic project environment. This is a temporary contract with a pay rate of £40 per hour for 37 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
• Strong experience in project accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana highly desirable.

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced, ideally qualified Accountant to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering a high-value capital works programme. The role will focus on project accounting, reporting, and establishing finance processes to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support capital project delivery teams with financial management and reporting
• Establish and implement project finance processes
• Work closely with engineers and project managers in a dynamic project environment
• Provide accurate project accounting and forecasting
• Utilise SAP S4/Hana to support finance operations

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
• Strong experience in project accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana highly desirable
• Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with some ambiguity
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
