Temporary Production Operative - Insulation/Element Winding (6 Months)

We are seeking a Temporary Production Operative to join our busy, friendly team at the Production Unit in Tideswell. This position is for approximately 3-6 months.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Insulate a wide range of furnace chambers and heating elements with various insulation materials.
  2. Form, condition, and test element windings to required standards.
  3. Operate equipment to form, test, condition, cut, and shape component parts.
  4. Use vacuum forming processes to manufacture parts from ceramic fibres.
  5. Perform additional tasks as requested by the Production Unit Supervisor.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred; knowledge of materials and cutting techniques is a plus but not essential, as training will be provided.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • 38 hours per week, 4-day week, rotating shifts (Monday–Thursday/Tuesday–Friday).
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 8:00 am – 4:45 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 12:30 pm (early finish on Friday).
