Lush is seeking a passionate Sales Assistant for their Perfume Library in London's Soho Studio. You will be the face of the store, engaging customers with your fragrance knowledge, driving sales, and creating a friendly shopping experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and customer service excellence while providing ongoing training opportunities for professional development.
Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It's what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there's more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Lush Perfume Library is currently the only standalone Perfume Library in the Lush world. Situated in the front of Lush's Soho Studio on Beak Street, the Perfume Library is a unique location, focussed purely on Lush's perfume collection from our newest creations to our archive of scent, home fragrance, books and more. We are looking for a passionate fragrance fanatic to join the Perfume Library team to showcase the Lush fragrance range, drive sales and fill the world with perfume.
The Living Wage Foundation's statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what's inside that counts - whether that's an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
The role
In this role, you'll be the face of the store, welcoming customers and providing a fun, engaging shopping experience. You'll use your product knowledge to offer personalised recommendations, in-depth perfume consultations, perform product demonstrations, and hand out tailored samples. Working closely with your team, you'll help drive sales, exceed targets, and create memorable in-store events that keep customers coming back. You'll also manage stock, ensure the shop floor looks its best, and adapt displays to seasonal trends. With flexible shifts, a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage, and opportunities for bonuses, you'll be well-supported through training and development to grow your skills.
