Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll and benefits administration across multiple European countries. The role is based in Cannock with hybrid working, and starts ASAP to join a growing international team.

You will own payroll operations, ensure compliance with GDPR and statutory requirements, and provide excellent service to employees and managers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' payroll experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Experience with payroll systems and HR platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and lookups.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with international payroll is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate payroll processes across multiple European locations.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers, benefits vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments, and benefit updates.
  • Administer employee benefits, pensions, leave, and absence management.
  • Maintain HR and payroll records ensuring GDPR and legislative compliance.
  • Produce payroll and benefits reports to support audits and reconciliations.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Payroll Specialist (Temporary Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll and employee benefits administration across multiple European countries. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international organisation, taking ownership of payroll operations, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support across a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage payroll processes across multiple European locations.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers, benefits vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments, and benefit updates.
  • Administer employee benefits, pensions, leave, and absence management.
  • Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and GDPR requirements.
  • Produce payroll, benefits, and management reports, supporting audits and financial reconciliations.
  • Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on payroll and benefits-related queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.Requirements:
