Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Exeter is recruiting Housekeepers and Cleaners to support a busy accommodation team.

This is a short-term, part-time cleaning role in Exeter city centre, with a 9:30am–1:30pm shift, Monday to Friday (some weekends). The job involves preparing bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard ahead of student returns.

Applicants should have cleaning experience, strong attention to detail and be reliable and punctual.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out manual heavy lifting.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
• Strip, turn mattresses and re-make beds.
• Deep clean kitchens and communal areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces.
• Remove waste and prepare rooms for new arrivals.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues.
