Hours: 5 days per week

Pay: £95.76 per day

About The Role

A small children's charity in Cardiff is seeking a Temporary Office Manager to oversee daily operations and provide essential administrative and HR support. This role requires a highly organised professional with strong leadership, policy management, and governance experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day administration
  • Manage and mentor two apprentices, providing guidance and support
  • Support HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
  • Maintain and update organisational policies, ensuring best practice
  • Provide governance support, ensuring charity compliance and assisting with trustee communications
  • Take accurate minutes in key meetings and maintain organised records
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Proven experience in office management or administrative leadership.

Knowledge of HR processes and policy implementation.

Understanding of charity governance (desirable).

Strong organisational, communication, and minute-taking skills.

Ability to mentor and support junior team members.

DBS check on the update service is essential.
