Qualifications

• Experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse.
• Ability to take ownership of observations, assessments, and planning.

• Meet individual children's needs including SEND support.
• Encourage and praise children's development and achievements.
• Provide general classroom support under the direction of the class teacher.

Job description

• The role involves working as a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children's development and achievements.
• General classroom support work under the direction of the class teacher.
• Appropriate support will be given to facilitate delivery of the role and have a sound knowledge of EYFS.
• Good communication skills, team spirit and able to communicate with the parents
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm term time only. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Appointment to this post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance, Online checks and satisfactory references.
