Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a reputable client with modern offices based local to Nottingham. Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to provide a comprehensive secretarial support service for a reputable legal firm on a temporary basis, however long-term opportunities may be suitable for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of legal administration, paired with proficient IT and audio typing abilities, and will be available to start immediately at their offices in Derby City Centre.

  • Assist with the preparation of case files for solicitors
  • Copy and audio type confidential data onto a bespoke system
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries
  • Liaise with third parties via telephone and email
  • Use MS Office to update sensitive case information

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of using databases including MS Office
  • Fast and accurate typing speeds
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Able to work within sensitive environments and understand confidentiality
