Express Recruitment are proud to be working with an Engineering Consultancy based in Nottingham, who specialise in manufacturing solutions, who are looking to hire an Industrial Project Manager on a full time, temporary basis to deliver project for the company on time and within scope and budget. If you are based in Nottingham and the surrounding area and looking to get into a role quickly – this one could be for you!

Their successful candidate will create and maintain project plans and forecasts. They will manage and escalate issues when required, identify mitigation plans, propose correct costings, and manage customer expectations. The successful candidate will have experience delivering high value projects of c£100m and essentially, have experience in Automation and Materials Handling projects.

Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable Project Management experience, have a strong understanding of financial and budget management, and have a certification in Prince2, APM PMQ, and/or APM Agile.

For the position, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£24.50 per hour D.O.E. The position is available for 6-9 months, with potential to extend beyond that and offers an immediate start.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Create and maintain project plans and forecast
• Manage and escalate project related risks and issues
• Identify mitigation plans when required
• Manage customer expectations throughout project lifecycle
• Manage project changes and variations
• Act as the first point of contact for project related issues
• Propose correct costings and schedules
• Create and maintain resource plans

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable Project Management experience with automation experience being essential
• Experience of managing projects up to £100m in value essential
• Strong understanding of financial and budget management
• Experience working with and managing multiple teams
• Certification in Prince2, APM PMQ, and/or APM Agile is essential
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package including Word and Excel
