About Canterbury Cathedral

Canterbury Cathedral is the cathedral of the archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Church of England and symbolic leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Located in Canterbury, Kent, it is one of the oldest Christian structures in England and forms part of a World Heritage Site.

We are currently seeking a temporary Governance/Executive Support Manager to join our team at Canterbury Cathedral. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our executive functions and governance processes during a period of increased workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive support to the executive team.
  • Managing governance processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Handling confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
