Job summary

Doe Park Water Activities Centre in Bradford is seeking a temporary Finance, Procurement and Auditing Officer to join the Customer and Business Support Team for up to 18 months. This role supports licensing operations and the travelling public by ensuring financial integrity and compliance.

You will handle IT-driven reporting, fee reviews, and audits while maintaining high literacy and numeracy standards and adapting to changing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, procurement and auditing within a local government or public service setting.
• Ability to process financial data with attention to detail and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Licensing Service ensuring administrative tasks comply with policies and regulations.
• Be competent in IT packages, especially spreadsheets and databases, and prepare financial reports regularly.
• Complete annual fee reviews within legal frameworks and highlight potential concerns.
• Audit service work at all levels, checking compliance with policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy with careful attention to detail.
• Procure and pay for goods in accordance with Council procedures and policies.
