Office Angels are delighted to partner with a well-established global organisation in Dunfermline to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant for an immediate start. This role sits in the International Finance team, supporting Accounts Payable, banking and reconciliation across entities and currencies.

Hybrid working is available after training. The position offers an experienced finance professional the chance to join a fast-paced team with potential for extension beyond 3 months.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office user.
• Experience working with multiple currencies or international entities would be highly advantageous.
• ERP system experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a busy shared finance mailbox and responding to supplier queries.
• Processing high volumes of invoices using three-way matching procedures.
• Preparing and processing weekly supplier payment runs.
• Reconciling multiple bank accounts and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
• Processing employee expenses and related finance postings.
• Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies with internal departments.
• Maintaining and reconciling supplier accounts and records.
• Applying credit notes and supporting month-end activities.
• Assisting with intercompany reconciliations.
• Supporting wider finance functions including Accounts Receivable when required.
• Producing accurate reports and working with large data sets in Excel.

Office Angels are delighted to be partnering with a well-established global organisation in Dunfermline to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to join a supportive and fast-paced finance team, with the flexibility of hybrid working once training has been completed.

The Role

Working within the International Finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting Accounts Payable, banking and reconciliation activities across multiple entities and currencies. This is a varied position where accuracy, organisation and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
