An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing online fashion business on a temporary basis. Supporting the Finance and Wholesale teams during a busy trading period, this role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a solid grounding in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations

- Generate and follow up on customer invoices using Excel

- Upload approved invoices to accounting software

- Process supplier invoices accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation is in place

- Help manage individual customer accounts alongside the Finance team

- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or invoicing issues with customers directly

Key Skills & Experience:

- Strong Excel proficiency - confident with data entry and formulas

- Sound understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

This role would suit someone with:

- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role

- Experience working in a product or retail environment (preferred but not essential)

- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running
