Job description

Temporary Finance Assistant | 6 months | Exeter / Hybrid | £12 - £14 an hour

Award-winning software organisation, renowned for a dynamic and vibrant culture that fosters collaboration, creativity, and professional growth. This team is at the forefront of their industry and prides itself on providing an environment where your ideas and talents can truly shine. Although a temporary (6 months) role currently, there is an opportunity to convert into a permanent position. You will either be a finance graduate or someone who has some experience working as an Accounts Assistant.

Role:

  • Process received invoices, statements, and queries
  • Manage approval process for supplier invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Generate payment runs, run remittances through ERP, and send to suppliers
  • Prepare monthly payroll documentation
  • Raise purchase orders and make payments over the phone when required
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Process and check weekly expenses ready for payment
