Temporary Employment, Education and Training Adviser (Schools Term-Time)

Are you passionate about supporting young people across RCT to access successful careers? Do you enjoy working flexibly and making a real difference in people’s lives?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Employment, Education & Training Team for a professional and motivated person with relevant experience to work with employers and young people across RCT.

As the Employment, Education and Training Adviser (Schools) you will work closely with Primary, Secondary, SEND and PRU Schools within RCT and provide a range of programmes and events to improve employability prospects for young people. The successful applicant will:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Be a detail-oriented, results-focused, competent problem solver with good research and analytical skills.
  • Have a strong understanding of the opportunities available to secondary-aged pupils in the public, private and third sector.


As an Employment, Education and Training Adviser (Schools) you will be required to travel independently throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf in line with requirements of the post.
