Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters across communities in the UK. You will deliver items quickly and efficiently, on foot or by vehicle, following our service standards and providing friendly customer service.

You may also sort mail/parcels at the delivery office. The role requires a DBS check as part of the application process and is temporary, with shifts from 14:00 to 21:00, 5 days per week (Mon–Sat).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently.
• Drive and/or walk on a dedicated route while maintaining our high standards of service.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as needed.
• The role is 5 days a week (Mon–Sat) with shift times 14:00–21:00.
