Job summary

Royal Mail are now looking for Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters, serving communities across the UK. You will deliver on a fixed route, in your local area, providing friendly customer service while maintaining high standards.

The role is temporary and involves shifts 15:00–21:00, with a basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour and a minimum of 5 days per week from Monday to Saturday. DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route.
• Maintain high integrity standards and friendly customer service.
• Sort mail/parcels within the delivery office as needed.
