Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting Royal Mail Post Persons with Driving for routes across the local area. You will drive a Royal Mail van and also deliver on foot, representing the organisation with customer-focused service.

Applicants should hold a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points and be physically capable of walking long distances while carrying mailbags. Shifts vary and driving assessments may be required on start.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving across your route, combining van driving with foot deliveries.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials or restricted items per Royal Mail standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering reliable service come rain or shine.
