Job description

Location: Camberley -Office-Based, 5 Days per week

Type: Temporary

Sector: Admin & Office Support

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Temporary Data Administrator to support a key project focused on master data clean-up, ahead of a major system implementation across Europe. This is a temporary contract for at least two months, starting in September.

You will be working on a critical data project to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems, with the cleansed data being prepared for presentation to the French Government. The work will involve cross-referencing and verifying information, so a keen eye for detail and confidence working with Excel are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and comparing two large datasets to identify discrepancies
  • Ensuring the final dataset is accurate and complete for upload
  • Checking VAT numbers and local tax ID numbers
  • Using Excel, including VLOOKUPs, to analyse and validate data
  • Downloading information from websites and integrating it into datasets
  • Verifying and correcting name and address data
  • Switching between multiple spreadsheets quickly and updating them accordingly

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage large sets of data
  • Proficient with Excel, particularly VLOOKUP and basic formulas
  • Able to work independently and maintain focus over repetitive tasks
  • Experience in data administration or similar roles is advantageous
  • Ideal for a recent graduate, someone between roles, or returning to work after a break
