Job summary

Cherry Professional is recruiting two Temporary Credit Controllers to support a busy finance function in Nottingham on an exclusive basis.

In this role, you'll join the finance team in a dedicated credit control position, helping maintain strong payment performance and supporting day‑to‑day credit control activity. You will proactively chase outstanding debt, communicate clearly with customers to resolve payment queries, and keep records up to date to ensure actions are followed through.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Credit Controller or an Accounts Receivable capacity.
• Able to work on-site in Nottingham.
• Available for a temporary assignment (approx. 3 months).
• Able to start immediately (or at short notice).

Responsibilities

• Proactively chasing outstanding debt and keeping accounts moving in the right direction.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers to resolve payment queries.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and ensuring actions are followed through.
• Supporting the wider finance team with credit control administration as needed.
