Clays Limited in Bungay is seeking Night Shift Print Assistants to join our Conventional Print Department on a temporary basis. This entry-level role offers full training and the chance to progress to permanent positions in the future, working on a night shift schedule.

You will be part of a hands-on production team, with duties across the printing line, palletising finished work, and supporting the machine minder as needed. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow the safe systems of work in place.
• Operate at the end of the line on a printing press and perform other duties as required.
• Bundle all work onto pallets for transport to the Bindery department.

Temporary Conventional Print Assistants – Night Shift

We are looking for temporary workers to join the night shift in our Conventional Print Department at our Bungay factory. This role ensures that we can meet the operational needs of the business.

This role is entry level, and no previous factory experience is required as full training will be provided – just a strong work ethic and can-do attitude will be enough. This role could lead to a permanent position with progressive opportunities in the future.

Role Responsibilities:

• Working safely and following the safe systems of work that are in place.
• Working at the end of the line on a printing press, and other ancillary roles.
• Ensuring all work is bundled up on to a pallet ready for transportation through to the Bindery department.
• Assisting the machine minder when required.

About You:

• You are used to manual labour.
• Happy to be flexible when required with working hours and shift patterns.
  • Monday to Thursday – 22:00 – 06:00
  • Friday – 17:00 – 22:30
• Strong team player
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Please note, due to the location of our factory, it would be preferable if you have your own transport.
