Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Temporary Cleaner in Greenock to deliver high cleaning standards under a fixed term contract. The role is part-time, 5 hours per week, at £13.45 per hour, based at DVSA Greenock DTC, Greenock.

You will follow cleaning schedules, operate safely, and work both in a team and independently to provide excellent service while meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
