Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Networking: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients, brokers, real estate agents, financial advisors, and other industry players. Attend networking events, conferences, and outreach initiatives to promote the company's brand and mortgage offerings.
- Business Development & Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase market share in the mortgage sector. Analyze competitors and identify growth opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guiding them through mortgage options and ensuring a smooth loan application process.
- Consultative Sales: Assess client needs and recommend suitable mortgage products, educating them on available options.
- Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline to achieve targets. Track and analyze sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with underwriting, operations, and compliance teams for efficient mortgage processing.
- Market Research: Keep abreast of market trends, new products, and regulatory changes. Provide feedback to senior management.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare sales reports and forecasts, providing insights into effective growth strategies.
The Successful Applicant:
- Experience: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management within mortgage or financial services.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage products and market.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented. Proven sales track record. Analytical skills. Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
