• Strong external audit experience gained in a UK accountancy firm.
• Confident in planning and delivering audits under FRS 102.
• Available to start in early July for an initial 6-8 week assignment.

GPN Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly respected and long-established accountancy firm in Central London who are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their team on a temporary basis to support with upcoming audit engagements. The successful candidate will join the team in early July and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit work during a busy summer period.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor with a strong practice background to contribute to a varied portfolio of clients, working within a supportive and well-structured environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs and group structures
• Review junior staff work and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure audit requirements are delivered effectively and on time
• Draft financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and applicable reporting standards
• Identify and report audit findings, risks, and opportunities to management and partners

About You:

• ACA / ACCA qualified, CAANZ, SAICA, CPA etc (or finalist with strong experience)
• Strong external audit experience gained in a UK accountancy firm
• Confident in planning and delivering audits under FRS 102
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Available to start in early July for an initial 6-8 week assignment (with potential for extension)
