Honeycomb Jobs is delighted to sit across the NI regional healthcare sector and is an approved supplier across the health trusts and affiliated bodies. We currently require a full-time Band 3 Administrator in the HR Department at Knockbracken (NIAS).

The Client - The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service is a reputable organization with various administrative and clerical positions across different sites and levels (Band 2 - Band 5). This Band 3 HR/OD Assistant role offers valuable experience that may lead to wider opportunities.

The Role - Initially a 6 months+ temporary contract with potential for extension:

  • The postholder will be a vital part of the Workforce Directorate, contributing to the achievement of its performance objectives.
  • Provide high-quality communication and administrative services to support a proactive, responsive, and professional HR service for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide dedicated administrative support to functions such as Pay & Conditions.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks and duties.

The Person - Essential Criteria:

Have 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language or an equivalent qualification, plus 1 year's administrative/customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent;

OR

NVQ Level 2 in Administration/Customer Service, plus GCSE Grade A-C in English Language or an equivalent, plus 1 year's administrative/customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems, maintaining accurate digital records.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
