Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Preston is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials. You will perform essential duties to keep the warehouse running smoothly and safely.

No prior experience required as training is provided; you must be 18+, able to lift up to 40 pounds, and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves standing, walking, and following safety procedures in a busy facility with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading/writing skills required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and orders.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping in accordance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report discrepancies
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and safe
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Sustain tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods
• Support other warehouse functions as needed (loading/unloading trucks)

What We’re Looking For:

Assists with the efficient operation of the warehouse by performing the physical and/or administrative tasks of shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
