Job summary

Greene Tweed & Co Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operator to maintain daily production and shipping to meet Logistics requirements. The role will support all warehouse operations including finished goods conversion, receiving, shipping of finished goods and packaging components, packaging material handling and related duties.

Ideal candidates will read and follow work instructions, operate packaging machines, load/unload trucks, and manage goods across the plant.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and perform work instructions.
• Familiar with packaging and shipping procedures.
• Experience with packaging goods to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily production and shipping to meet Logistics requirements.
• Support all warehouse operations including finished goods conversion, receiving and shipping of finished goods and packaging components.
• Handle packaging material and related duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
• Load and unload trucks; pack and unpack cartons.
• Operate packaging machines.
• Move goods throughout plant and transport materials between departments.

Job summary:

Responsible for maintaining all daily production and shipping to meet Logistics requirements. Warehouse Operators will support all warehouse operations including finished goods conversion, receiving and shipping of finished goods and packaging components, packaging material handling and any other related duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to read, understand and perform the work instructions in all operations.
• Perform all tasks required to package product in order to meet customer specifications.
• Store, retrieve, count, label and record all parts and assemblies and perform any other warehouse tasks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Pack and unpack cartons.
• Must have the ability to set up and operate all packaging machines.
• Pick up and deliver goods throughout the plant and transport materials within and between departments as required.
• Ability to occasionally carry up to 50lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Ability to operate a forklift on a limited basis.

Required Minimum Qualifications Education/Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with SAP (or comparable system) and basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to work within UPS Worldship, Fedex, DHL, Pitney-Bowes shipping software, international paperwork.
• Familiar with shipping procedures both electronic and hard copy
