Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a global construction consultancy in their search for a Senior Technical Advisor to join their team, as part of business succession planning.

Offered on an initial temporary to permanent basis, this is a unique and exciting opportunity for a candidate with both hands-on and management experience in the mechanical/electrical services sector, looking to develop in their career with an excellent employer.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail who is confident working with senior stakeholders and attending board meetings. Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Technical Solutions in order to ensure effective delivery of services
• Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring all team members are performing their roles effectively and to the required standards
• Attend board meetings and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and standards
• Promote and enforce Health and Safety practices on-site

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within Mechanical or Electrical services
• Knowledge of asset tagging/PAT testing advantageous, or experience as a gas engineer
• Reliable and motivated attitude when working in niche settings
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Experience within a management position, with the ability to lead and support a team

Vacancy Summary

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM

Salary: c£20 per hour D.O.E

Location: Nottingham

Job Type: Temporary ongoing for approx. 3-6 months, high potential to extend
