Job summary

Fortem in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Temporary Site Manager for a 3-month assignment within our Midlands Projects division. Hours 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday. Manage refurbishment and retrofit works on social housing, with direct and sub-contracted teams on site.

You will report to the Project Manager, ensure safety, compliance and timely delivery, and maintain site records while coordinating resources and meetings to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Experience managing retrofit/construction projects on social housing or similar
• Proven ability to lead direct and sub-contracted teams on site
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of direct and sub-contracted construction and trades staff.
• Ensure safe, effective and timely delivery of retrofit/construction works.
• Maintain up-to-date health and safety records and site documentation.
• Coordinate resources and run regular site meetings to plan activities.
