Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is seeking a proactive Site Manager for a Social Housing Planned Maintenance project in Olney, Buckinghamshire. The position is full time, temporary for around 4 weeks, based in St. Neots.

You will oversee contractors, ensure safe execution, and drive the day-to-day programme delivery. The role requires prior site management experience on planned maintenance in social housing, with RAMS and Construction Phase Plan setup capability.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are required for site supervision.
• First Aid and Manual Handling certifications are preferred.
• Asbestos Awareness is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage contractors delivering social housing refurbishment works.
• Ensure works are completed safely and within stated timescales.
• Manage sub-contractors, inspect properties pre- and post- works, and lead progress meetings.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the programme and site teams.

Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Maintenance

Based in St. Neots

Full time, temporary - around 4 weeks

220 - 270 day rate

We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment works in Olney, Buckinghamshire. This role is a temporary position for around 4 weeks.

As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day to day delivery of the programme.

We're looking for an established Site Manager who has previously worked as a Site Manager for a main contractor, covering planned maintenance projects in Social Housing properties. You will be able to set up all Health and Safety documentation including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and have a proven track record in leading sites teams including Assistant Site Managers, RLO's and in-house labour.

You will also hold relevant qualifications including:
