DEWIS Centre for Independent Living in Barry, Wales, seeks a Personal Assistant for temporary maternity cover to support a disabled client at home.

You will provide domestic assistance, personal care, and occasional social visits, working up to 15 hours per week, starting December, for 10–12 months.

A DBS/CRB may be required; the employer may meet the costs. Wage is £15.30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic tasks, personal care and social visits as needed.
• Support independence while maintaining privacy in the home.
• Follow agreed criteria and training as required.
