Job Description:

A global Financial Services business are looking for an immediately available HR Business Partner to join on a 3 month notice period to cover the recruitment of a permanent hire.

This is an opportunity to join a small, agile, and high-performing HR team. As the HR Business Partner (VP level), you’ll report into the Head of HR Business Partnering and work closely with Centres of Excellence. This is a hands-on, generalist HR role with a focus on relationship-building, transformation support, and business partnering across both strategic and operational HR activity.

You’ll own relationships with several key client groups and also provide critical support across IT & Technology, which accounts for over 50% of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to business leaders and managers, providing strategic and operational HR support across your client groups
  • Own all generalist HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, organisational change, talent development, and engagement
  • Support transformation within the growing Tech/IT function partnering on strategic projects including skills development, technical training, and career pathing
  • Collaborate with OD colleagues on ongoing culture initiatives
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of talent and development strategies
  • Support the wider HR team with hands-on delivery as needed-this is a roll-up-your-sleeves environment where collaboration is key

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience, ideally within financial services, technology, or a regulated environment
  • Strong employee relations expertise and confidence working across all generalist HR matters
  • Comfortable working in a smaller, agile HR team where you’ll take ownership across both strategic and operational areas
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A team player who’s pragmatic, solutions-focused, and excited to work in a collaborative, hands-on culture
